HUNTEDFOX leather headboard installation instructions.

STEP no.01
HANGING your headboard
what you need: drill, level + measuring tape
[2]  hanging screws
No matter which hanging style you choose, we suggest that you mount the headboard to the wall first.  If you desire a more relaxed headboard style, you can skip this step as it will allow the leather to naturally slink & stretch over time.   

1. Locate the position on your wall where you would like to hang your headboard. We recommend 1" below your mattress. 
2. Measure the distance between the hooks on the back top straps.
3. Using a level, make sure that the markings for both sides of the headboard are straight. mark those spots on your wall with a pencil.  
4. Using the specific screws included [picture hanging screws] drill into the marked spots on the left & right. 
5. You will now HANG the top of the headboard by the hardware on the back straps

STEP no.02
SECURING your headboard
what you need: drill
[2x] mounting screws
this is not necessary but will keep your headboard from slinking, moving or stretching upon it's own weight. 

1. Using the specific anchor screws included, locate the eyelet on the lower right and left bottom of the straps
2. Fold the corner of the headboard upwards [toward the center to expose the bottom of the upholstery straps.  Gently use these points to adjust shape or tilt while inserting the screws through the gold eyelet.  screw directly into the wall.  Repeat on both sides. 

STEP no.03
FINISHING your headboard
what you need: drill
[2-5] decorative screws [depending on size or type]
all pieces come with straps.  you can get creative by using a pole, the hardware, hooks or other unique hardware to make this piece truly your own. 

1. Each decorative hardware kit comes with it's own instructions depending on hardware style.  Follow specific instructions that came with the kit provided. 
2. Remember to use a vacuum while drilling into the wall above your newly installed leather hanging headboard and or bed.  You can easily wipe down any dust that should fall from the wall where you have just drilled. 
3. Now, step back and admire your work before swan diving into the best update you've made to your bedroom...ever.
